This month, you have the extraordinary and exciting task of opening the door to a new world. Perhaps this means revealing a fantastical element hidden within our “reality”—the wardrobe in The Chronicles of Narnia, for example. Perhaps you will dream up an entirely invented world, as in Children of Blood and Bone. Or perhaps you will take readers to the future, dreaming up a reality dramatically changed by technology, the environment, or a new social order. In a fantasy or sci-fi short story, take your readers on a journey into a world of your imagination.
